The other week Rene and I had some friends over to our home and I had the pleasure of cooking up some yummy food. I wish I would've taken some pictures, but oh well. Anyways, for dessert I had planned on making Truffles and chocolate covered strawberries however, my ganache just wasn't working for me and so the truffles never happened. But, I was able to use that ganache for the strawberries. And lucky for me, the strawberries were DeLIce!! I know they aren't in season but man these were the sweetest strawberries I've ever ate. Needless to say they were a huge hit and since then I've bought 4 more pints and we've been eating them like crazy!! (but I have been taking them to others as surprise packages ^_^)

Mmmmmmmm! I can't wait for you to move back to Alaska......I need some of those. :) I'll bring the strawberries you bring the "know-how".
