Don't worry, we're still here!

Wow, I haven't been on here in forever!  Now that we're living back home and so close to most of our family I don't know if there's really a point to keeping up with the blog.  But for now, here's an update.

Life since this summer has just flown by.  I cannot believe we are so close to Christmas and my 'present day.'  :)  I've recently decided I will no longer be celebrating my birthday and getting older, but I will celebrate the day I receive gifts.  lol  We'll see how that works.

First things first.... In October, Rene and I traveled to Rome, Italy to take a 13-night cruise!  It was one of the best, if not the best, trips we have ever taken.  The traveling to Rome and back home after wasn't so great as it took forever, but oh man, the in between was amazing!!!  Here are some of the highlights:

Our Ship: Celebrity Equinox (first sailed in 2009!!)
Ship @ Sunset
Our stateroom (it was @ the front of the ship and so much bigger/nicer than our last one)
This is where we spent a lot of time, The Lawn!!  (yes, it's real grass ^_^)
A view of Sorrento, Italy with Mt.Vesuvius in the background.

The streets of Pompeii (this was actually really cool and so different than what we expected to see)
Corfu, Greece (Rene and I would LOVE to buy a home in Greece!!)
Cairo, Egypt - hieroglyphics inside a tomb
 The Pyramids of Giza
The Sphinx w/ Giza Pyramids behind (and just an FYI, we wont be travelling to Egypt again.  It was very dirty and there were a ton of people.  You haven't experienced real traffic till you've been to Cairo!)
Jerusalem, Israel - The Wailing Wall
The River Jordan - upstream from where Christ was baptized.  (Israel was super beautiful, we want to go back and be able to take some real time to sight see)

This was just a pretty flower in Israel taken at the home of the apostle, Peter

Rome, Italy - the Coliseum

Inside the Coliseum :)

We are looking forward to our next vacation!  We don't know when it'll be or what we'll be doing but I've got some great ideas!!

After our cruise we came home and got right back into things.  Rene's been working and I've been looking for work, but not very successfully.  :)  We also just adopted another puppy.  Her name is Cocoa and she's actually Indy's real sister.  We got her from the same breeder and she's uber cute!

Happy celebrated day of getting presents, I know what you mean by that. I am late, but just got back from vacation to tell you.
Jealous of the trip, we want to go on a cruise soon, but money is tight. We are looking into a puppy though, hopefully as cute as yours.
Love hearing from you, so hope you keep the blog up.
