So it has been a little while since I last posted something. I find it hard to think of things interesting enough for you to read. =) This weekend we traveled to Evansville, IN to see the Fischback family. It was a great weekend! Rene had saturday through monday off which was really nice. On monday, we had a large feast where just about everyone helped out. The most shocking thing was to see Rene cooking!!! I know, where's the proof, right?! He actually made all of the fried ocra for the meal and did a good job. I don't know if this will continue once we are home, but maybe. I taught the family to make Kimbop (a korean version of california rolls). No pics of that as I am the photographer. Here are some more weekend fun pics. Rene played Twister with some of the girls and then all the guys helped out putting up walls for a room the Fischbacks are adding and finally, picking fresh veggies from the garden.
It was just a chaotic, fun weekend. Now, something I should have added some time ago are pics of our new home, or the floorplans. We are so excited to have a home and move out of our apartment. I believe that one of the greatest things for Rene is that he will finally be able to use his surround sound "the way its supposed to be used." (LOUD) The home does look rather big, but we have hopes of filling it with children! =) We should be moving into the new home next March.
